What is Solar radiation
A solar irradiance meter recognises the total all-encompassing solar radiation; the direct the diffused and the reflected solar radiation in the atmosphere. The largest amount of solar radiation reflected by the sun is that which is in the visible infrared spectrum, other types of radiation b the sun such as ultraviolet radiation will be absorbed by the atmosphere and the clouds. Solar radiation can last up to a year, as the angle of reflection is greater in the summer than it is in the winter and the rays fall more directly on the surface of the earth.

Remember to provide your clients with a maintenance service (unless they are prepared to do the same themselves). A useful example of this is to measure the output of a solar array during different times of the year and log as such, then each season to clean the panel and notice the difference in output on your current meter. If you do this a few times over a year will be able to track your clients array's performance.
